As a full time artist I have been getting used to painting on a more regular basis and reinforcing my beliefs and working methods.

The experience of places, light, weather and space is important to me and working outside to capture the moment is essential. I enjoy using a variety of materials and techniques for drawing and painting.

I have exhibited in local group shows mainly e.g. Aberdeen Artist Society exhibitions, Artaboyne, Milton of Crathes.  I have also shown work in The Jack Tierney Gallery, Finzean tearoom/gallery, Touched by Scotland,  Larks Gallery and Country Frames Gallery. I took part in NEOS from 2011 to 2013 and Aberdeen Art Fair in 2011. In 2013 I exhibited in the Monymusk Arts Centre.

In 2018 I am taking part in NEOS at the Milton Gallery.

As a tutor I enjoy working with students from beginners to more experienced artists and this has become an important activity in my weekly routine. See separate page about tuition.
